Lexi-Data Basic
Drug product content in one easy-to-read database. Lexi-Data Basic provides drug names, drug production information, disease names, and coding systems-even generic names, brand names, and common abbreviations. A comprehensive list of standard or customized disease names and ICD-9 codes is also included.
We developed three principle drug name lists: Drug Name, Brand Description, and Active Ingredients. Each drug name is associated with a Drug Identifier. You can use the Drug Name tables in isolation or combined-whichever way works best for your application. You could, for example, combine the Drug Name list with the Brand Name Description list to get a comprehensive drug name list of clinician-friendly drug terms.
Delivery is available through database tables that are compatible with Oracle®, MySQL®, and SQL Server®.

It's important to have the most current drug product and clinical information available, so we provide an update tool that allows for incremental updates or full updates. Updates are posted through a FTP site.
