Lexi-Comp Supports Meaningful Use of Clinical Decision Support
In an effort to promote quality, safety and efficiency through electronic health record (EHR) technology, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has proposed language defining "meaningful use" of this technology. This definition details qualifications necessary for the eligibility of healthcare providers to receive incentive payments for their implementation of EHR technology as defined in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
When integrated into an EHR or HIS, Lexi-Comp satisfies the CMS definition of Meaningful Use for clinical decision support.
